What is a Crypto Deposit?
A deposit refers to transferring digital assets from another exchange or wallet into your PinkWallet account — similar to a bank transfer. For example: Person A provides Person B with a bank account number, and Person B goes to the bank to deposit funds into that specific account. This process can be compared to making a crypto deposit.
When depositing, every digital asset requires a deposit address. Some assets also require a Tag or Memo in addition to the deposit address.
Important:
When making a deposit, ensure that:
The asset name matches on both the sending and receiving platforms.
The network is the same on both ends.
For example, if you are depositing USDT, follow the steps below:
Open the PinkWallet App homepage, tap [Assets] → [Add Funds] → [On-Chain Deposit], then select your asset, e.g., USDT.
Select a deposit network (e.g., Ethereum (ERC20)), tap [Copy] to copy the address, then go to the sending platform or wallet, paste the address, and complete the transfer as instructed.
You can also tap the notebook icon in the upper-right corner of the withdrawal screen to view Recent Transaction Records.
Note:
When selecting the deposit network, make sure the withdrawal network on the sending exchange or wallet is the same as the deposit network on PinkWallet.
For example, if you are using USDT-TRON (TRC20), both sides must match exactly — otherwise, your funds may be lost.
